They're a "HIT".

The volleyball season comes to an end as our girls finish strong. Being led by coaches Kaitlyn Dula, Brittany Flora, and Jordan Gaylor, the Lady Eagles end with an 8-2 total.

Even with Covid, the girls were able to play their season.

“As in every sport, especially in this crazy year we have had lots of ups and downs in our games, but overall I am pleased with my team and their ability to persevere,” said coach Kaitlyn Dula.

The team practiced to prepare for each and every game.

“You are able to learn from every point, every play. Throughout the season we have taken all of the good and bad and worked on it in practice. I always tell my girls "you play the way you practice" so we try to carry that philosophy through the season and bring the energy every day,” says Dula.

The girls persevered through the season, while also becoming district champs.

“Ending up the year as regular season district champs shows how talented of a team that they are,” states Dula.

The senior players were able to play their final season.

“My seniors have been fantastic this year - Lauren Stone, Taylor Anderson, and Callie Altice. Their dedication to the team and the sport has been inspiring,” says Dula.

Coach Dula and players acknowledge that this has been a season like no other.

“This season has definitely been different, but I really think that we made the most of it and I think that our win last night really proves our hard work this season. I will really miss this sport and team,” said senior Callie Altice.

The team is looking forward to the Region Tournament.

“We put a lot of hard work and dedication into this short season, so we're looking forward to the region tournament that starts on Tuesday the 13th,” states junior Courtney Bryant.
